| A bird complains of pride |
Another said: "Whenever I decide
To seek His presence, that arch-devil Pride
Obstructs my path. I can't fight back with force;
Against his specious talk I've no recourse.
How can I find salvation from his lies,
Drink down the wine of meaning and be wise?"
